 CKA BC2 Crashing a lot

So people don't think i'm not trying to improve the server crashes, here is a list of forums I have posted in. I've tried everything that I have acess to try, besides changing server hosts. Which means starting our server rank and such from scratch.

And I have talked with 2 other canadian clans, who report there server hasn't been crashing this much.

Maybe some one is hacking our shit lol. There are 2 different crashes. The once when the server actually goes down and we cant join for 5 or 10 minutes. The other when we all get disconnected and the server does a quick restart. We can join right away. Just what i seen. There's a pattern here.

If it's any comfort I know you do a lot for the clan, even if we don't know everything you do, I for one know you are doing things to improve our clan experience.

While I'm at it, the officers in the clan also do much for us. It's all appreciated and I thank you all. If anyone knows what it takes to run a clan, they know what I'm talking about, anyone can do it, only a few can make it fun and memorable.

Bad compagny 2 has many bug. Maybe they are working on it. Crash server can be one of them. I hope it can be only that. If not canadaka i know you do your possible to fix it.

"All servers are being patched to server version R7 at this time. Changes/Fixes . Several common crash fixes. Especially those which have monitoring scripts that rely on the Remote Admin interface should see stability improvements. . PunkBuster can send commands to Remote Admin interface (so 'pb_sv_task 0 -1 ' works) . Veteran-rank handling corrected (it was broken in R6 and possibly earlier) . Switched back to Release version of the low-level networking library; less debug output but higher performance . Increased the initial server reconnection interval to 30+rand(30) seconds . PB GUID generation is now based on EA account IDs (it used to be based on persona names) If you have any questions or concerns please open a support ticket. Thank you. Branzone.com"

- Workaround for the "player manages to join server twice" crash. Now the server detects this and refuses the player entry. Client might hang but it will not take down the server as well.

- Workaround for the "cannot join player to any team" crash. Teams might get uneven, most notably SQDM sessions with 5v3 players, but the server should no longer crash.

Our server was upgraded to R9 this morning, hopefully that helps on the crashing!

- use “/!<command>” if you want to be able to send commands to your homemade rcon tools without showing the commands to other players
• player.onAuthenticated added (it’s triggered when a player receives GUID)
• player.onSquadChange, player.onTeamChange implemented
• Couple of crash fixes
• Support for “region” setting

damn the server was running this afternoon i was monitoring it. But now its empty, did it crash? Was anyone on at the time?

yeah it crashed when i was playing 2day. it just said connection timed out realy fast. fastest crash ive ever experienced. the server was back up instantly
