 Quake Wars (Now Recruiting)

Well folks looks like this game is right around the corner. Many members are looking forward to this game.

Over the next few days we will edit the recruiting section to allow for people that are interested to apply early. Also there is a Quake Wars section on our forums.

This means that we will also be looking for people that are interested in taking on administrative responsibilities.

So Drop a post in the Quake Wars section to let us know you are interested.

As added incentive to bring me back Twisted Evil I should point out that I play QW:ET and very much enjoy it. If you field a team, I would be all over that.

From what I hear, I should have picked up 2142 instead :/ I haven't even tried it yet. I'll pick up a copy asap.

2142? Who told you to buy that? BF2 is where it's at man.

Trust me. I just finished patching bf2 and I still plan to play. After a couple of maps I'm super rusty. Let's fix that up.

Hey now, 2142's not that bad, you can't beat HoverTanks and Speaders. I enjoy aspects of both BF2 and BF2142 and am playing them both regularly. I would highly suggest you try the demo of QW before you go buying it, several of us have and were not very impressed.

I've been playing QW since the demo came out and I really don't see the WOW factor, I tried sniping all weekend and as long as I got my crosshairs close the guy was dead, I could snipe on the run and almost got all the kills. It's still a well thought out game but BF2 & 2142 are more fun.

That's because it's QUAKE! The BEST way to describe it is to say: They've taken the reflex-shooter Quake and made it a team game. However, I too am anxious to play COD4.

Gave the Demo a shot, and I uninstalled it already, not impressed, so I'll be waiting for COD4 before adding anymore games to my list.

Well, the demo wasn't all that great... the actual game is pretty good though. It's freakin' Quake, man! Of course it's good Razz

Never been a fan of Quake to be honest, Battlefield line of games is where it's at, along with CS Source.
