Hello and Bonjour fellow Canadian gamers, I'm going to let you know a little about my self. I was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada and am currently 16 years young. I've been gaming ever since I can remember; from playing 007: Golden Eye on the N64 I realized one of my passions and hobbies. I loved playing games on consoles but I then got curios when my older brother had got the game "Half Life" for his PC; I thought I would give it a try. After playing a few hours of "Half Life" I knew that PC gaming was far more advanced and funner than console gaming. From then on I started to play more and more PC games and eventually later on I got a job and bought my own PC in 2004, From there I kept upgrading it until now where I can play the most advanced games.

For a few weeks I played World of Warcraft but I knew that MMORPG's were not for me and went to pickup Battle 1942 and absolutely fell in love with it, I then went on and bought the rest of the series from Vietnam to Battlefield 2; I became a Battlefield fan-boy. Ever since I've been playing the Battlefield series and am now playing Bad Company 2.

I've been in a few Clans in the past but they were to serious and not fun at all. I've been searching around for a clan but they were all no fun and all work. I then got the idea to search for a Canadian clan, then I found CKA. It looked and still looks like the funnest and most passionate clan I have seen in awhile, I knew that this was the clan for me.

We are a mature clan 18+ but their are exceptions, the XO's will be the judge of that.

Cool and detailed intro, if only half of the console people knew the POWER OF THE ... PC.

Our Clan does do competition from time to time but it's got a good mix of both, competitive and none competitive. Every member takes the game differently, but most of us take it laid back.

Thanks Frost, But it seems as though I have been denied. I logged onto my GMail account and saw that my application was denied. I guess is must of been my age because there was no reason attached the the E-Mail. All is good though, I had some fun yesterday with some of the CKA members on BBC2. Oh, and it took awhile but I finally got on TS (It was hard to find the password). I talked to a cool guy from Toronto named Sarcasama. After some time of talking to each other, A member named Canuck_2099 and eventually more kept poring in. We eventually decided to join a game on BBC2 and have some fun. We played for a mere 4-5 hours until it was nearly 2 O'clock in the morning! A lot of us went to bed but I stayed on and played with the 2 people who were left; Canuck_2099 and another whom I cannot remember the name of. After 10 minutes of having fun we all decided to call it a night and goto bed.

That was my night which was action packed and fun, I'm sorry that I wasn't excepted but I will still try and play with you guy but I will most likely venture off. Thanks again and hope to see you on the Battlefield!

WTF, are you sure you where denied? Did an XO even talk to you? I don't recall seeing any XO's last night.

It was Shuhac who was with us in the wee hours of the morning (just for the fyi factor).

Can't comment on the refusal however. Age IS a "condition" and may have played a role. There is a certain level of responsibilty I would gather on the Clan side to make sure that content is age appropriate.

Lame as this might sound, as a parent, I would be concerned about my teenager being a member of an "adult/18+" guild that has boobies on the welcome page.

I don't however, have any problem with Pankek being a regular on the server so I can pay him back for all the times he blew up my tanks!

I often just outright deny all the applicaitons with age under 18, at times we get lots of registrations to the website.

You can stick around and play on TS and if we find you mature enough can relook at accepting your application to the clan.

Yes, I understand that age is a requirement and I support that but I also think that maturity is more important and I can see you think that as well. I can assure you I have seen other things than "boobs" on the internet because in all respect it isn't that hard to find. In some ways I don't think there really should be an age requirement because I may be 16 but I there are worse things that I talk about and see with my friends and at work but rules are rules so I will stand by you guys on your decision.

I will still play with you guys even if I do not get accepted because you guys are one hell of a fun bunch. Now that I started playing you guys I go on teamspeak as much as I can with you, I went on yesterday all day but not very many people came on or were AFK. I tried to get KEEMO to drag me into his channel but I don't think was able to. So, I will still play with you guys as much as I can when I don't have work or doing other stuff.
