cpu temp. & overclocking
anyone know of a good program to use to over clock? that will tell me what the cpu temp is at the same time or? got 2 diff. programs?

I use a program called Core Temp and if you have a G15 Keyboard it will display you CPU temp on the LCD screen.
Now a program to overclock you CPU directly from Windows it will depend on your CPU. I have a AMD CPU and have used the AMD OverDrive app which allows you to OC your CPU, Memory, and tweak a few other things. But being Old School I still prefer going into the BIOS to setup my OC settings and then testing them out using Prime95 and MemTest

HW monitor and CPUz FTW! HW monitor shows temperatures AND voltages for everything..extremely cool..use BIOS for overclocking..

speedfan is also good, and prime95 or wateva its called u run 2 instances of it to really give ur comp a torture.
