Athons - Missing for a bit.

Post by Athons » Tue Aug 09, 2016 1:58 pm

Been offline for a while now. Had a bad storm blow through where I live. Power was out for a good 10 hours and I live in a neighborhood where our sewer get pumped through a lift station. So my sump pumps installed in my house and the main sewer backed up in my basement causing all my new renovations to be wrecked. Got everything out that was valuable other than furnace, water heater, etc. Not as bad as some people though. We are still living in our house. Hopefully should be back online in a couple weeks. I would have just hooked up everything upstairs but i have everything wired in wall and would have to unmounted items. Anyways hope to talk to everyone soon.

Ya apparently last year, insurance companies made a 20,000 dollar limit on sewer back ups. Unless you changed and added more to your policy. Luckily our damage will be under the limit, but still sucks all the work and everything else that has to be done. Nice one to there Carrot.
