Need help fixing my Registry re: bf2

Post by prohobo » Tue Jul 22, 2008 9:54 am

So I'm trying to reinstall BF2, by dragging the folder off an external HD, and dropping it onto my current machine. Problem is, I can't patch it because the registry on my computer is missing the install stuff for BF2. I need someone to post a screenshot of their registry, with all the bf2 folders expanded so I can see exactly what it should look like, so I can copy it to mine basically, and start pwning noobs again. Let me give you an example....

It will look something like this, but not exactly because I did it wrong, and need to fix it. Thanks.

What someone that has it installed could do is simply export that folder from the regisry and send it to you so you can import it to you reg. =)

I've done that in the past.

sorry i'm on 64bit Vista, my registry would by different I think. I don't have any dice folder in that location.

Why not download the original cd/dvd as a torrent from mininova.org, just don't use the crack, use your legit key.

But i think the dice folder should be in ALL CAPS
the battlefield folder should read "Battlefield 2(TM)
and inside that folder should be a folder called "1.00.0000"
